Today the Air Force Band came to Am Sam and played for our high school! They put on an hour show and the students absolutely loved it...especially the girls. The band consisted of 4 men: 2 were in their late twenties, 2 were middle aged, and only one of them was remotely attractive. But the girls went crazy! The band definitely knew how to play to their crowd- what to say and what songs to perform- and the kids responded. The girls would rip pages out of their notebooks and write things like “Call Me 555-4593,” “Johnny, I love you!” “Marry Me,” or “I’m Single!” It was hysterical and made a fun start to a long Thursday!
